Questions about pricing

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Tunnels on a random subdomain are free, with HTTPS, WebSockets and the request log. No card is needed. The Free plan has no time limit.

What do I get for free?

Every tunnel you start without a reserved subdomain gets a random one. It changes each time you run the command, so it suits quick shares and one-off tests.

What is a reserved subdomain slot?

A slot is a paid place for one reserved subdomain, such as my-app.hrzn.run. You can buy more slots than names, so a slot can stay empty until you need it. Release a subdomain and the slot stays yours.

Why does a reserved subdomain cost money?

A reserved name stays yours across restarts, and nobody else can claim it while you hold the slot. That keeps webhook settings, bookmarks and shared links working. Random subdomains stay free.

Can I pay monthly or yearly, and switch later?

Yes. Choose either interval at checkout. To switch, open Settings in the dashboard. The switch applies at your next renewal, nothing is charged today, and your slots carry over.

What happens when I cancel?

Remove all your slots in Settings. The subscription then ends when the period you paid for ends, and your subdomains work until then. After that they are released. Each released name is held for you for 7 days, then anyone can claim it. Random-subdomain tunnels stay free.

What happens when I remove one slot?

The slot is removed now, without a refund. If every slot holds a name, Horizon releases your newest name, and it is held for you for 7 days.

How do taxes and invoices work?

Stripe asks for your card at checkout and shows any tax before you pay. Your payment method and invoices live in the Stripe portal, which you open from Settings in the dashboard.
